Saucony's flagship guidance model will hit the shelves this November with a midsole makeover. The Guide 7 will come complete with a heel-to-toe insert of PowerGrid, which is 15% lighter and 30% more resilient than the Progrid midsole used in the Guide 6.
In the outsole of the new Guide, Saucony has deepened the flex grooves in the forefoot for a smoother toe off and has decoupled the crash pad in the heel to encourage an a highly fluid transition throughout the gait cycle.
The Guide 7 weighs 10.0 ounces in a men's size 9 and 8.6 ounces in a women's size 7, making it on par with the weight of the Guide 6. The fit should closely resemble that of the Guide 6.
