Saucony Kinvara 4 Running Shoe Review
The Saucony Kinvara 4 running shoe's are almost here! First, let me say that if you love the Saucony Kinvara 3, you won't be disappointed. The changes are subtle, yet work to make this beloved shoe even better. In fact, the Kinvara 4's won Runner's World Best Update in their 2013 Summer Shoe Guide.

The heel cushioning technology has been upgraded from ProGrid to PowerGrid. What does this mean? Better impact absorption and balance.

The upper still uses Flexfilm for a wonderfully seamless feel.

There is a 4 mm drop which (obviously) isn't zero, yet, these still have a flatish feel of a minimal shoe. The big difference is the softness you feel when your foot strikes. How do they achieve this wonderfully flat yet soft feeling? A thin band of midfoot padding, which makes all the difference in the world. Plus, the midsole foam is lighter and higher-quality for even softer cushioning.

Saucony Kinvara 4 running shoes are lightweight and really responsive. They can actually make you feel faster. (Seriously, try them for yourself and let me know if you feel it too.) If you're looking for a speed trainer, a light road shoe, or a great shoe for race day, then the Saucony Kinvara 4 could very well be the perfect shoe for you.

So, to sum it up: light, fast, responsive, durable, enough cushioning to help you keep going, a great color selection (personally I'm partial to the bright yellow or bold purple), and, overall, a beautiful shoe. Best of all? This is an update that is all improvements. What else could we ask for?

The Saucony Kinvara 4 running shoes will be ready to ship on or around May 15, 2013 but you can pre-order your pair today.
