The lacing system was changed with the All Weather model an extremely irritating set up where you cannot keep the heel of the shoe from slipping without tying it so tight that it hurts. The Event fabric in these shoes is also stiff. So stiff I could not run more than 2 miles without having blisters on the top of my toes. While it does eventually break in it still does not keep your feet dry. I quickly abandoned these as runners and tried to use them as walking shoes but they fail there also. I know waterproof runners can be executed well. I had a pair of Brooks Ghost Gore tex and loved those. I had also enjoyed my original Lone Peak and thought that the All Weather would be a great…
